This document outlines the services provided by Stereo Hearts, our terms and conditions, and the information we need from you to ensure a seamless event experience.
Our Services
Live band performances with optional complimentary DJ service.
Song requests: We will learn and perform your chosen song (e.g. first dance) live where possible. If not feasible, we will play the original track via our PA system.
Fully insured (Public Liability) and PAT-tested equipment; certificates available upon request.
Compliance with venue noise restrictions via electric drum kit.
Commitment to professionalism: Timely communication, punctual arrival, efficient setup, and professional conduct. We perform with all original members or, if unavailable, a stand-in of equal ability.
Requirements from You
1. During The Booking
Details of optional extras and venue information.
A £50 non-refundable deposit to secure the date.
Any initial song requests.
2. Two-Month Pre-Event Catch-up
We will reach out to confirm:
First dance song.
Venue details and timings.
Additional songs for the playlist.
Whether you'd like us to perform the first dance live (please confirm at this stage to allow rehearsal time).
This is the final deadline for tailored requests. After this point, requests beyond our standard setlist may not be accommodated.
3. Two Weeks Before the Event
Please ensure we have the following details at least two weeks before your event:
Final arrival time (usually during the venue’s turnaround).
Payment of the outstanding balance or arrangement for payment on the day.
This helps us guarantee a smooth performance and avoid any last-minute surprises!
4. On The Day
Most requirements are handled by venue staff (performance space, power, access, parking).
Please ensure no one other than band members handles our equipment. Damage caused by unauthorised handling will result in immediate performance halt and repair costs invoiced to the person responsible or the booking party. Microphone use requires prior permission.
Payment
We accept electronic payments, cash, or cheque (by prior arrangement). Additional charges from your payment method are your responsibility.
Cancelation Policy
Deposit is non-refundable.
More than one month’s notice: No additional fees.
Less than one month’s notice: 50% of the agreed fee is payable.
If we must cancel (rare), all monies will be refunded, and we’ll help you find an alternative.
Non-Response Clause
If we haven’t heard from you between the deposit stage and two weeks before the event, we will assume the booking is cancelled by you. The full fee will remain payable, as the band could have taken other bookings. You are responsible for checking in with us. We can still offer services, but tailored requests will not be fulfilled.
Agreement
By paying the deposit or sending an electronic message, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this contract. To discuss any section, please reference it in your message.
Contingency Plan
If a band member cannot attend, a deputy musician of equal ability will be provided. If unavailable, we will use multi-track playback and offer a 25% discount.
